Gameplay reminders

  • Three 12-minute periods

  • Penalties are 1:30

  • Slapshots are allowed

  • 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss

  • Head to head

  • Goals against

  • Fewest penalty minutes

championship gameplay

  • 1 time out allowed in championship game only

  • Three 12-minute periods

  • 5-minute overtime followed by a shoot out if needed

Division Guidelines

The Coastline Cup will host three women's divisions - C, High D, and Low D - please register for the level of play that best suits your team.

Low D Division:

  • Players 30 and over OR less than 5 years of playing experience

  • Players are adult learners

  • There should not be any C level players registering at this level

  • Players do not generally compete above D level

  • Teams may have some Rec level players

High D Division:

  • Players 30 and over OR less than 5 years of playing experience

  • Players are adult learners, though teams may have some players who have some high school or club level college experience

  • Teams may have 1-2 C level players registering at this level

C Division: 

  • Players 18 and over

  • Players generally have high school and some college level experience

  • Players do not generally compete above C level

  • Teams may have 1-2 B level players

  • Players with divisional or professional play experience in the last 5 years are ineligible
